Everyone, but everyone, was mightily impressed. The feedback I got was not just about Mark’s act – it was about his style, manner and humour in presenting it.
Mark wowed us with his mind reading last week. He definitely made an impression and was the sole topic of conversation for the remainder of the conference. I will certainly keep him in mind for our next conference in 2009.
It's never easy to please everyone in the crowd and when the crowd is an international consulting company it seems almost impossible - but Mark succeeded! With his friendly approach, professional interaction and his first class abilities, Mark blew everyone away and left them speechless. I hired Mark Cairns to entertain at our retail winter showcase at The Grove in NW London. One of our management team had seen Mark doing his mind reading at another event and recommended that we hire him. I wasn’t sure what having a “mind reader” along to our evening dinner would entail, but suffice to say Mark’s act was unlike that of any other performer I’ve ever seen, and it was perfect for our key retail buyers. Mark has a very easy-going manner, is tremendously professional and a fascinating performer. The guests found him to be entertaining, funny, polite and amusing but above all were completely amazed at the extraordinary mind tricks he performed.
We initially decided to hire a magician to perform at my friend's 40th Birthday party in London, but wound up booking Mark instead. Everyone thought he was fantastic and they're still talking about him! Having landed myself with organising a hen weekend for my friend, I tried to think of an alternative entertainment that would be completely different but fun. The reception Mark received was brilliant and I know that everyone thoroughly enjoyed his act. Mark did a first class job of entertaining the guests at our wedding. Does Mark travel?
Yes. Mark is based in Southern Oxfordshire and whilst the majority of his work is based in the South of England, Mark performs all over the UK and (as an EU passport holder) also regularly performs in Europe.
Is this suitable for a corporate / family / young / older audience?
Mark’s act has broad appeal, and was designed with corporate audiences in mind. Mark is equally at home entertaining people that range in age from late teens through to octogenarians, and is just as much at ease in the company of salt-of-the-earth blue collar groups as he is with Royalty of both the domestic and exotic varieties.
There are only 8 of us - is this too small a group?
Not at all - in fact, this is where Mark’s talents can really shine. For groups as small as 4 people, Mark will present what the Victorians called a Parlour Show - a private performance of feats that build over the course of 35-40 minutes to a rather astonishing conclusion.
Will Mark need background information on the guests?
No - in fact Mark generally requests that he is NOT briefed on attendees, so that the host can later sincerely assure guests that Mark knew nothing in advance about the audience.
